CHURCH SPIRITED AGAINST ‘spirit’: CSI CALLS FOR SHUTTING DOWN LIQUOR OUTLETS

Earlier, the Clergy, Church Workers and hundreds of believers marched to the District Headquarters, and registerd their protest against the current liquor policy of the state government. Apart from the Bishop, Rt Rev Thomas K Oommen, the Rev Jacob George, the Rev Alex Oommen and the Rev Joby Varghese Avanakkadan, voiced out the Church’s stand.
